An award-winning songwriter, vocalist, pianist and guitarist based in Charleston, Travis Allison is a music scholarship graduate of the University of Richmond where he was awarded the Roy Jesson Award in music. In August 2018, the Travis Allison Band opened for Darius Rucker and Hootie & the Blowfish with the Blue Dogs. Also in 2018, the band performed the wedding of former first lady of South Carolina, Jenny Sanford.
