26 Feb Brookgreen Gardens named one of America’s best sculpture parks Brookgreen Gardens has been declared one of the best sculpture parks in America. Tell us something we didn’t know, right? The 95-year-old Hammock Coast attraction placed third in a just-completed USA Today/10Best contest for “Best Sculpture Park in the U.S.” It was a competition that placed 19 other parks in contention with the Murrells Inlet icon. Even while Brookgreen just finished in a top place for Best Sculpture Park, it’s still in the running for “Best Botanical Garden”, also in a USA Today 10Best contest. The 10 winners will be announced on Wednesday, March 18. Mark A.
