Contour Airlines announces new service from West Virginia to the Hammock Coast

Contour Airlines, recognized for its customer-focused approach, featuring low fares and zero change fees, has announced a new nonstop service at Myrtle Beach International Airport, which serves South Carolina’s Hammock Coast®.

Contour Airlines launched its inaugural nonstop flight to and from Beckley, West Virginia, early June. The new service will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays through Aug. 12, offering travelers a convenient and affordable new connection between the two destinations.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Contour Airlines to MYR with the launch of nonstop service to Beckley,” said Judi Olmstead, director of airports. “Our team continuously works to expand air service opportunities based on traveler demand, and this new route provides a convenient and affordable option for our passengers. Mark A. Stevens, director of tourism development for the Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce and South Carolina’s Hammock Coast®, said this new nonstop service will bring even more visitors to the area.

“Contour Airlines adding a new nonstop flight from Beckley is feather in our cap,” he said. “We welcome visitors from many areas around the country, and this will bring even more people to the beautiful Hammock Coast.”

The addition of Contour Airlines further enhances Myrtle Beach International Airport’s growing list of destinations, reinforcing its commitment to providing accessible, efficient, and customer-friendly travel options.
