Hampton Inn, Litchfield community of Pawleys Island
This hotel in the Litchfield community of Pawleys Island is centrally located on the Hammock Coast. Rooms include a complimentary breakfast. General Manager Wendy Jones has set up a special rate for those attending the Hammock Coast Birding Festival. For any dates between Feb. 5-10, festival attendees can book rooms for the rate of $139-$149, plus tax, per night. You should call the hotel directly at 843-235-2000 and ask for the Hammock Coast Birding special rate. Hampton Inn Pawleys Island is only minutes from Brookgreen Gardens, Huntington Beach State Park and the beaches of the Hammock Coast – and directly down the street from the Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce office, where you will pick up your welcome packets. Welcoming guests for the past seven decades, the Litchfield Beach and Golf Resort is made up of myriad vacation homes and condos. Centrally located in the Litchfield Beach area of Pawleys Island, the resort is located just behind the Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce office at 28 Wall Street, which serves as headquarters for the Birding Festival. South Carolina’s Hammock Coast® has myriad accommodations available — beachfront homes and condos, marsh view condos and homes, hotels, bed and breakfasts, and more. You name it, we have it. We do recommend you stay in the Pawleys Island, Litchfield Beach, Murrells Inlet areas, as this is centrally located to many of the activities especially Friday and Saturday evening dinners. It is not recommend that you stay to the north in the Myrtle Beach area, as that will put you much too far out from activities and tours.
