20 Feb Allegiant’s new nonstop route to MYR will enhance service to the Hammock Coast A well-known airline that serves South Carolina’s Hammock Coast® has made it even easier for people to visit the area. Allegiant has announced a new nonstop route connecting Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR), the closest major airline to the Hammock Coast, and Atlantic City, New Jersey. Allegiant has added a new flight between New Jersey and Myrtle Beach International Airport, which is only minutes north of the vacation destinations of South Carolina’s Hammock Coast. The new route, launching in the summer of 2026, will provide convenient, nonstop service between MYR and expand Allegiant’s growing presence at the airport, which is only minutes away from Hammock Coast destinations such as Murrells Inlet, Litchfield Beach, Pawleys Island, southern Garden City and the historic city of Georgetown. The airline is known for connecting small-sized to mid-sized cities to popular destinations.
