The southern area of Garden City, which is part of the Hammock Coast, offers a quiet retreat from everyday life, pristine beaches and close proximity to Murrells Inlet. The Gulf Stream Cafe, located next door, offers creative seafood and steaks, with live music and seasonal oyster roasts.
Nearby attractions include a fishing pier, arcades, go-cart race tracks and shopping. Boaters – and those who opt to walk the beach – can visit the secluded beach of Garden City Point, where the inlet meets the ocean.
