29440Did you know that the heartpine from yesterday is no longer available for today? After many years of over-harvesting the long leaf pine, the only way to have this fine wood is to reclaim it from old buildings. At Nordstom Heartpine we reclaim the heartpine and other wood from old building dating back from the 1800′s. The wood is denailed and the beams are then milled into planks, placed in our kilns to dry and run through a moulder to produce tongue and groove flooring, crown moulding, and trim. Also available are custom-designed traditional tables, chests, sofa tables and dining room sideboards.
