Founded in 1931, this non-profit outdoor museum with its majestic oaks and world-renowned sculpture is a place to restore your soul and renew your spirit and that’s not all. Everyday, Brookgreen offers tours, programs, and exhibits for all ages. Relive history as you walk the Lowcountry Trail or take a cruise on the pontoon boat.
Brookgreen also is home to the only accredited zoo on the Carolina coast, where you will see native animals in their natural habitats. Beautiful gardens, rich historical sites and gracious southern hospitality tempt you to return again and again which is one of the reasons the admission is good for seven consecutive days.
