Brookgreen Gardens

Founded in 1931 by Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington, Brookgreen Gardens in Murrells Inlet has been described as a unique melding of art, nature and history. With the slogan “Ever Changing, Simply Amazing” it features life-sized sculptures by Anna Huntington and other artists throughout the 9,100-acre property. Brookgreen Gardens is one of America’s premier gardens which also offers a zoo with animals native to the area. It is one of a few select places in the United States that has earned accreditation from the American Alliance of Museums and the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, as well as being designated a National Historic Landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
**Open until 8 p.m. on Thursdays until April 20 for Dinner a la Art.
Pets are not allowed, nor can they be left in vehicles inside Brookgreen Gardens.
Service animals that have received special training to assist disabled persons are welcome.

Daily general admission tickets for seven consecutive days are: $20 for seniors 65 and over; $22 for adults ages 13-64; $12 for children ages 4-12; and free for children 3 and under.
