Walk in the footsteps of some of golf’s greatest legends, including Tom Watson, Gary Player, Ray Floyd, Lee Trevino, Lanny Wadkins and others, at the PGA Tour’s own Tournament Players Club at Myrtle Beach.  Host of the prestigious 2000 Senior Tour Championship, this relatively young Tom Fazio design is already regarded among the top courses in America.  Golf Digest ranked it among “America’s Top 10 New Upscale Public Courses” in 1999.  Golf Magazine placed it among their list of the “Top Courses You Can Play” in 2000.  Additionally, TPC has earned honors for “Top 10 Courses in South Carolina” by GolfWeek in 2002 and “Myrtle Beach, South Carolina’s Golf Course of the Year” for 2005.

The site is almost 20 acres in size. The new complex will add to the facilities available for sport fishing events. Owing to Georgetown County’s coastal location and wealth of rivers, it is an ideal location for a major tournament facility for both fresh and saltwater activities. Georgetown County, long known for its exceptional fishing and hunting opportunities, provides fishing enthusiasts saltwater fishing in the Atlantic for sea bass, snapper, grouper, mackerel and flounder to name a few, and then there’s the fresh water fishing in five different rivers for bass, catfish, shad and mullet and more.
